One more reason we need open access.

I needed to get some information about methods from one of my older papers.  I was at SLU, which has limited journal access.

I couldn't get the full print version of my own article.

I've been in that pickle more times than I can count. You'd think by now I'd have pdfs of my papers on all my computers, right? :)

Hi!! Now I am growing T47D and I have experienced some of the problems that you described in your blog. In particular, I have notice that cells at high density (above 60%) show many vacuoles-like bodies (inclusion bodies). Is it normal? I am surprised that the picture you show from ATCC (right side) show many of them, which I have also observed in most of the dishes. Any suggestions is welcome. Contact at ggicazbalceta at gmail. Thanks!!!

By the way, I have also suspected about mycoplasma. Is it? The picture of high density from ATCC is very similar to that one I have seeing in my cultures when they become sick with mycoplasma even if the cells are growing almost well. But also I have observed that morphology when cells are growing well, very well.

Thanks again!!

Yes, we need open access. I use it and amazing, I don't think that I'm the one who think that open access really help me.
